How Much Does it Cost to Digitise Videos?

Our video transfer service is priced at $200 per videotape, regardless of its length. Simply add the number of tapes to your order. We'll contact you if the actual number is different from what you paid for. 


If we discover your videotapes to be mouldy and have splicing issues during the digitisation process, there will be a fee of HK$100, which covers one basic cleaning and splicing repair. Additional charges may apply if the splicing damage is substantial.

There are options to transfer videotapes to digital yourself including camcorder recording and digital converters, but these options often don’t produce high-quality results. In addition, even the best do-it-yourself options can be time-consuming and require some technical knowledge. 

1. Once we receive your priceless home videos, we will carefully clean them, check for damage, and scan through the video.


2. Then, we use professional-grade equipment to transfer your memories to digital format by hand.


3. Before sending the original and digital copies back to you, we inspect the colour and quality and save a backup to ensure your memories are never lost and appear exactly as you remember them.

Will there be an additional charge if my videotapes have mould and splicing damage?

Yes, there will be an extra fee of HK$100 for this service, which includes the cost of one-time basic cleaning and splicing repair. Additional charges may be applicable if the mould and splicing damage is significant.
