Michael Chang

Michael Chang is the CEO of Capture, guiding the company’s mission to make memory preservation simple, secure, and accessible to all. With a career devoted to the family memory preservation industry since 1999, Michael brings extensive leadership and advisory experience across software services, education, life sciences, and e-commerce.

He was an early angel investor in YesVideo (dba Capture) in Silicon Valley, alongside Kodak and Polaroid, before taking over the company in 2012. Since then, he has led Capture’s transformation into a global leader in digitisation services, expanding internationally with Capture.HK in 2021 and Capture Australia in 2025.

Michael is passionate about photography.  He taught photography classes and darkroom techniques in high school and continues to innovate in preserving analogue and digital memories for future generations.
