Frequently asked questions
- Do you remove photos from the album?
- No. Our touch-less scanner captures each page in place, then each photo is saved as its own file.
- How am I charged for albums?
- Per photo, at your plan’s price (Silver, Gold or Diamond), with lower rates from 1,000 and 3,000 photos. We count the photos we actually scan, so an estimate of photos per album is enough to order.
- What if my photos can't be taken out of the album or frame?
- Our patented 8-layer glare removal scans them in place, removing reflections from glass and plastic sleeves without damaging the photo. Photos that can be removed are scanned at up to 1200 dpi.
- How do I get my media to Capture?
- Choose door-to-door collection (HK$200, free for orders of HK$2,500 or more), drop off at our Central store, or send it to us by SF Express.
- How do I receive my files?
- Files are delivered on a Capture USB flash drive (HK$99) or uploaded to Google Photos (HK$99). You can choose both.
- Do I get my originals back?
- Yes. Collect them at our Central store or have them returned by SF Express.
- How much do I pay upfront?
- Only a deposit when you order online. The balance is paid when your files are ready, based on what we actually digitised.
